The story of “Pete Said No” Pinot Noir is a tale of a winemaker’s intuition. When our esteemed Winemaker Peter Douglas tasted the three standout barrels of Pinot Noir, he insisted they were too exceptional to blend into our Razortooth Pinot line. Thus, a new Koonara Pinot Noir was born, capturing Peter’s discernment in every bottle. To complement its uniqueness, it dons a label that matches our new Premium Chardonnay, Daisies & Dandelions.

Delicate yet dynamic, “Pete Said No” brings a harmony of black cherry, spice, and smoky vanilla to your glass. Enhanced by six months of aging in Taransaud and Mercurey French Oak barrels, this wine offers a complex blend of floral notes and supple fruitiness. Expect a balanced interplay of acidity and light tannins, giving way to flavors as elegant as they are lush.
