Description
Years ago, there seemed to be plenty of Cabernet vines growing in Eden Valley, yet few remain today. We enjoy Cabernet as much as you do, feeling the need to uphold the local folklore of this noble variety. Our Miss Bronte is named after our eldest granddaughter Bronte and was created to be enjoyed on any day with a “y” in it.
Our 2020 Miss Bronte Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is created to mature gracefully, yet is delightfully approachable upon release.
Fine French oak aromas with a hint of sage add to the opening pleasure. Fresh ripe blackberry, currant and raspberry flavours with much-anticipated cassis are uninterrupted, as smooth dark chocolate melts into the overall richness on the palate.
Gorgeous soft mouthfeel, with fine long ripe tannins, are nurtured by the natural acidity to give a very elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Slow braised lamb shanks, actually lamb is definitely the top pick for this wine. And dessert… how about a cherry ripe?
