Description
Tempranillo means “little early one”, a name given to it by Spanish growers who observed its habit of ripening early. It grows extremely well in topographically diverse regions with high diurnal temperature variation (ie cool nights, warm days) so the King valley climate is perfect. It has a wide range of aromas ranging from strawberries, plums, blackcurrants and cherries, to prunes, chocolate, leather and dried herbs and tobacco.
